What's new for the week of October 5–11

This week, we made the planner easier to use every day: the mobile Kanban feels smoother, Focus keeps your accumulated time, your schedule is available right inside a project, and habits can be paused. We also tidied up the calendar, task cards, and the interface across screen sizes.

New features

5

Kanban is easier to use on your phone

The board is easier to use with one hand: you can scroll through columns anywhere on the board, and move a card with a long press. When you drag a card to the edge of the screen, Kanban scrolls to the next columns automatically. A persistent scrollbar makes it clear that there is more to the right.

Kanban columns can be renamed

Double-click a column title to rename it for your workflow. For example, you can replace the default statuses with “Ideas”, “Waiting for approval”, or “Ready to publish”.

Focus picks up where you left off

If you pause Focus and later return to the same task, the timer shows the time you have already accumulated and keeps counting. If you leave the tab inactive for a long time, the timer stops automatically, so a forgotten task will not record extra hours by accident.

Your schedule is now right next to the project

Open the calendar on the right without leaving the project page. View a day, move to the previous or next date with the arrows, or choose a date in the mini-calendar — then drag a task card to the time that works for you.

Temporarily pause your habits

Feeling ill, travelling, or simply taking a break from a habit? Pause it in the Habits section and turn it back on when you are ready. There is no need to delete the habit and create it again.

Improvements

Kanban remembers your display settings

If you hide events on a project board, that choice stays in place when you move to another section and come back. Your Kanban stays the way you set it up.

A cleaner interface across screen sizes

We refined text sizes, labels, and translations, and updated the landing page header. The main elements now feel more polished on desktop, tablet, and mobile, while task cards are easier to read at a glance.

The calendar gets you to the current moment faster

Tap “Today” and the calendar moves not only to the current date, but also to the current time. Tasks without a scheduled time remain clearly visible in their own list.
